This stellar participation resulted in a remarkable achievement, with our team securing two prestigious top-tier awards, two silver recognitions, and two bronze accolades.

Embark on a remarkable fusion of technology and nature with our gold-awarded masterpiece, the “Fresh fruit bunch ripeness detection autonomous robot.” This revolutionary creation employs drones equipped with advanced machine vision detection systems to analyze fruit ripeness, representing an unprecedented breakthrough in agricultural technology. Under the guidance of Dipl-Ing Ir. Narendran Ramasenderan and Mr. Krishna Ravinchandra, the brilliant students Yee Han Xiang, Sio Ying Xuan, Ravivarma Sivathasan, and Sarim Ahmed Khalil brought this innovation to life.

For the adventurous underwater enthusiasts, we proudly present “DiveXtreme: Dive into the future through changeable lens,” another gold laureate. Elevating the diving experience to new heights, these versatile goggles offer changeable lenses, built-in micro cameras, and ultrasonic hazard detection, ensuring safety, accessibility, and excitement. Mentored by Ir. Ts. Dr. Alexander Chee Hon Cheong and Dipl-Ing Ir. Narendran Ramasenderan, the exceptional students Chin Kah Min, Achmad Fasya Dwiana Adwitya, Sin Jun Yan, Eythar Amir Kamil Mohamed, and Kuah Zhun Hoe brought this innovation to life.

Honored with the prestigious silver award, “WaveWonder” takes the spotlight as our remarkable Unmanned Surface Vehicle — a powerful tool for sea search and rescue missions. Equipped with SONAR sensors, high-resolution cameras, and an intelligent AI system, it stands as a beacon of hope in the vast expanse of our oceans. Under the guidance of Ir. Ts. Dr. Alexander Chee Hon Cheong and Dipl-Ing Ir. Narendran Ramasenderan, the talented students Areebah Sajjad Khattak, Darvwesvaar A/L Sivapragasam, Zainab Yasmin, Yong Shuet Li, Durkesh Ravi Shankar, and Leng Yi Shun brought this innovation to life.

Adding to our triumphs, we proudly present another silver laureate, “The enhancement of mechanical properties of Zirconia toughened Alumina.” This innovative technique, utilizing Two-Step Sintering, significantly improves the mechanical properties of ZTA, making it an ideal choice for bio-implantations such as hip replacements. Developed by the esteemed lecturers Alexander Chee Hon Cheong, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Sathish Kumar Selva Perumal, Dipl-Ing Ir. Narendran Ramasenderan, and Ir. Ts. Dr. Yvette Shaan-Li Susiapan, under the leadership of the distinguished head of school Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Siva Kumar Sivanesan.

In the realm of digital innovation, our bronze accolade-winning project, “Digital twin edge solution for smart campus,” takes center stage. By harnessing the power of a 3D digital twin of the campus, this remarkable solution enables real-time monitoring of parameters such as crowd density and temperature, offering an interactive digital campus experience. Mentored by Dipl-Ing Ir. Narendran Ramasenderan and Mr. Krishna Ravinchandra, the talented students Ravivarma Sivathasan, Sharen Chrisan Fabian Perera, Yazan Aldali, Sarim Ahmed Khalil, and Sabrina Mehjabeen turned this vision into reality.

Completing our triumphs, we proudly present another bronze award-winning innovation, “Low temperature degradation resistance of the material for total hip replacement.” This exceptional biomaterial innovation significantly enhances the longevity of implants, paving the way for safer and more effective bio-implantations. Authored by the renowned educators Alexander Chee Hon Cheong, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Sathish Kumar Selva Perumal, Dipl-Ing Ir. Narendran Ramasenderan, and Ir. Ts.
