CREDIT organized an industrial talk delivered by Dr Mazlan Abbas, CEO of REDtone IOT. It is to help the students to discover and gain an in-depth insight in IoT field.
IBM Watson IoT hands-on workshop (1st Aug 2016)
As a part of the collaboration with IBM, IBM Watson IoT hands-on workshop was organised to introduce the Watson IoT capabilities. At the workshop, Ms. Gayathri Srinivasan from IBM US provided an insight into IoT application development from a practical point of view.
Visit to MIMOS Berhad (29th June 2016)
MIMOS invited CREDIT for a collaboration meeting and visit of (BITX) Lab. It was a very fruitful and productive discussion. As we identified there are lots of opportunities where APU and MIMOS can collaborate with each other.
MDeC IoT TTT training (10th – 14th October 2016)
Dr. Tan Chye Cheah and Suresh Gobee attended the STM32 IoT Workshop organized by MDEC & IoT Labs.
Hilti IoT workshop (2nd December 2016)
The students benefited a lot from the knowledge shared by Hilti, and this workshop helps them firm up on their ideas for the Hilti IoT competition.
IoT Tech Forum (29th May 2017)
Dr. Qazi Mamoon and Mr. Mu Pathma were invited to talk about IoT infrastructure and IoT startups. Dr. Qazi Mamoon is the associate senior researcher at TM and Mr. Mu Pathma is the CEO at Promosys Technology.
IoT Innovation Day 2017 (11th July 2017)
It is a full-day event to bring together various industry experts to give talks on a wide range of IoT-related subjects, to foster learning, inspiration and provoke IoT innovation. This event was supported by MaGIC Malaysia and it is part of the ‘Road to GEC’ events. It received about 200 participation from the students and industry professionals.
